Privacy Policy — Afterlife Bureaucracy
Afterlife Bureaucracy is a single-player idle game. There is no account, no sign-up and no login. We do not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else about you, and the game does not send your saved progress anywhere. This policy explains the small amount of data that the third-party services inside the app do handle.
What the app itself collects
Nothing. Your save file — departments, staff, cards, currencies, statistics and settings — is written to your device's private app storage and stays there. We operate no server and have no database of players. Uninstalling the app deletes the save.
The export code in Settings is generated on your device and shown only to you. It is not transmitted to us. If you send it to yourself, you are the one sending it.
What third-party services collect
The app embeds three Google and RevenueCat components. They act as independent data controllers or processors under their own policies, which are linked below.

Advertising choices
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, which stops it being used to personalise advertising. Google's ad settings are at adssettings.google.com. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent dialog is shown before the first ad request; if consent is declined or cannot be gathered, only non-personalised ads are served. Buying Exempt From Advertising grants a permanent ×2 on the Overnight Backlog Report. It does not change what ads the game shows, because the game never shows one you did not ask for: the rewarded buttons are optional whether or not you buy it.
Notifications
Reminder notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to a server to produce them. You are asked before any are scheduled and can turn them off in the app's Settings or in Android's notification settings.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of the services above, contact us and we will help you raise it with that provider.
Purchases and randomised items
The game sells Requisition Vouchers, which can be spent on the Personnel Requisition Lottery — a randomised staff-card draw. The probability of each rarity is published inside the app on the Odds screen and repeated in the store listing. Purchases are handled by Google Play; refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
Your rights and how to exercise them
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase. To reach the data the services above hold:
- AdMob: reset your Advertising ID, or use Google's privacy controls.
- RevenueCat: write to us with your purchase order ID and we will request deletion of the associated records on your behalf.
- Play Games: delete the game's Play Games data, including the saved-game snapshot, from the Play Games app (Settings → Delete Play Games account & data) or from Android Settings → Google → Manage your Google Account → Data & privacy → your apps' data. Uninstalling the app removes the local save from the device but not the cloud snapshot; delete it through one of those routes.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
